It is simple to get started. Once you confirm an appointment date and time you will receive a link from the online portal to fill out your intake paperwork prior to your first appointment. Then 24 hours before your appointment you will receive a reminder email and a link to join. When the day and time of your appointment arrive, make sure you are in a private space and click to join. It’s that simple!

If you're experiencing feelings of distress, persistent worry, a sense of overwhelming, or facing difficulties in managing your daily life and relationships, therapy might be beneficial. The first session is mainly about getting to know each other. You'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you might have. It's also an opportunity for you to see if you feel comfortable with the therapist and their approach.

Typically, therapy sessions last about 50 to 60 minutes. However, this can vary based on the type of therapy and the therapist's practice. It's important to clarify this with your therapist beforehand.

Some of my clients see progress within 2-3 sessions. My style is solution focused and goal oriented. Ideally, we will meet for 8-10 sessions.

Regain Yourself is an out of network provider. We can provide a document, called a Superbill, for you to submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement, depending on your out of network benefits. Since our services are time-limited and do not include diagnostic assessments of mental disorders. If you wish to ask your insurance company for reimbursement for an out-of-network provider, please note that an assessment and a diagnosis will have to be submitted.

The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs, goals, and the therapist’s recommendations. This could range from once a week to once a month. The schedule can be adjusted as therapy progresses.

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Your therapist is bound by professional ethics and laws to protect your privacy. There are few exceptions related to safety and legal requirements, which you will review in your intake paperwork and first session.
